The Ranu's immigrated to Canada in 1999, starting from scratch and working their way up with blessings and gratitude. Hard work, perseverance, dedication, and sacrifices by the following family members, Gurpreet Ranu, Navneet Ranu, Anveer Ranu, and Kuldeep Ranu, that allow them to present Moonlite Delight. Gurpreet’s wife Navneet clearly recalls a decent conversation when they first met. Gurpreet said, “One day I am going to open my own Indian restaurant”. Never stop believing in yourself, as 5 years later he is standing with his family, with his vision and dream of an Indian restaurant called Moonlite Delight. It has been quite the journey to finally be able to open the doors to this new venture.The face of extensive experience in the restaurant business you will see the most is Gurpreet Ranu. Gupreet started as a dishwasher and worked his way up the ladder to management at Dennys Restaurant (8 years). The reafter he embarked on opportunities to manage Boston Pizza (8 years) and Cactus Club (2 years). Gurpreet accumulated a tremendous wealth of knowledge in all aspects of how to run and operate a restaurant business. This encouraged him to take a leap of faith and become the owner of Lighthouse Cloverdale (franchise).

The Indian roots stem from their parents, Mr. Teja Ranu and Mrs. Kashmir Ranu, who have kept the culture, traditions, and great homemade Indian food alive for them to share with you.
